How do I create a chat channel?

Learn how to create a channel in chat for interacting with many people at one time

A chat channel allows you to interact with a group of people at one time. You can use the chat channel for different purposes, such as discussing topics during a virtual event or online classroom community discussion.

After creating your account, use the following steps to create and install your first chat group channel. 

1. Go to the ‘Group Channel’ section on the dashboard
   
2. Click on ‘Add Channel’
   
   1. Name the channel
   2. Choose or upload the avatar image for your channel
   3. Upload the banner for the channel
   4. Type in a description for your channel
   5. Click Create
      
3. Your new chatroom channel will be listed on the ‘Group Channel’ list
4. To edit the Channel, click on the Pencil icon beside the channel name
   
5. To delete a channel, click Remove
   
6. To export the chatroom conversation history, click on the vertical ellipsis button and select Export Data
   
7. To reset the channel conversation, click Reset
